A clean start on port 25
Outbound SMTP is a restricted activity. Ask us to open port 25 after you order. We decline it when the request looks like bulk mail.

Mailcow wants a few gigabytes of RAM. Check the project's current requirements and pick the VPS above them.

Order the VPS and the domain
Put both in the same checkout notes if you want the hostname to match. rDNS can be requested from support.

Install Mailcow or Stalwart
Follow that project's guide. Use TLS. Don't leave the admin panel on a default password.

Ask for port 25
Write to support with the server reference and what the mail is for. Unsolicited bulk mail is prohibited even if the port is open.

Is port 25 open by default?
No. Outbound SMTP is opened after a short review. Inbound mail on 25 for a server you described to us is part of that conversation.
Can I send a newsletter?
A newsletter people asked for is different from unsolicited bulk mail. If the volume is high, say so when you ask for port 25. Spam is prohibited.
Do you provide webmail?
Not as a managed product. Mailcow includes one if you install it. You administer it.
