Location overviews

🇮🇸 Iceland · North Atlantic

Iceland pairs a long-standing reputation for protecting journalists and publishers with renewable power and naturally cool data halls. It sits outside the EU while participating in the EEA, which gives it its own approach to content and data requests.

🇵🇦 Panama · Central America

Panama is a natural choice when you want infrastructure outside both the EU and US legal systems while staying close to North and South American users. Its corporate privacy culture is well known, and its submarine cable landings keep latency reasonable across the hemisphere.

🇲🇩 Moldova · Eastern Europe

Moldova is our value location. It is not an EU member, has comparatively relaxed handling of foreign copyright complaints, and connects into Romanian and Ukrainian backbones for solid European reach at Eastern European prices.

🇷🇴 Romania · Eastern Europe (EU)

Romania gives you an EU address with excellent domestic fibre and a history of resisting blanket data-retention rules — its constitutional court struck them down more than once. It is a balanced choice between price, speed and legal predictability.

🇨🇭 Switzerland · Central Europe

Switzerland is the premium option: a stable non-EU legal system, a strong federal data-protection act, and foreign requests that generally have to go through Swiss courts. You pay more for it, and for many projects it is worth it.

🇳🇱 Netherlands · Western Europe (EU)

The Netherlands is about the network. Amsterdam is one of the largest internet exchange points in the world, which means great peering and low latency to almost all of Europe. Legally it is a mainstream EU jurisdiction, so it suits performance-first projects.

🇷🇺 Russia · Eastern Europe / Asia

Russia sits entirely outside EU and US legal frameworks, so Western copyright notices have little direct effect. It is inexpensive and reaches the CIS and parts of Asia well. Local law has its own requirements, so read the considerations before choosing it.
